Mash Media was founded in 2023 by owner CJ Masciantonio.

Before Mash Media, CJ graduated with his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Afterwards, he took a chance as a touring musician and found success traveling around the world performing in multiple musical acts, starting with the Star Wars heavy metal band Galactic Empire.

During this time, he would often on the side pursue work that involved social media management, marketing, photography, videography, sound design, and graphic design.

With the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, CJ turned to more jobs in these areas due to the state of the live music industry. He was able to create steady business through these pursuits and has been busy to this day.

The culmination of such work is now Mash Media. CJ has worked with clients spanning a variety of fields. These include TV networks, corporate companies, small businesses, musical artists, entertainers, and more.
